This is a special blog today. March 17, was always a special day in our house growing up, as it was our Mom's birthday. We always did our best to make it a special day for her. We didn't come from a normal household by any means. As I got older on Mom's special day she decided she was going to let us know what to get her, what size how many etc. It was so funny to see her letter come in the mail prior to her B-day. She would list undergarments, the size and how many she wanted. If I couldn't afford to get it for her it would go down the list to my sister, Linda. We would call each other and say, "did you get mom's list yet?" Which ones do you want to get? Bras with sizes, names of the brand she wanted and how many. Underwear, Type, Name and size and why they wore the best for her. Always more information than we needed. Not really sure what list, our brother's Leo and Lee got but with Mom, who knows? We will leave that alone.........Ha!Anyway, those good ole days have passed as Mom is in heaven giving God and all the Angels her list now. We will miss the list Mom but most of all we miss you. We love you and Happy Birthday!
Bobo, as a puppy, celebrates his Grandma's birthday with her favorite soft drink. "Here's to you Grandma." No offense but I won't miss getting a list but here's a lick!!" Izzy wanted me to send you her licks too!!
