Always be polite when you meet them. Once you get through your presentation, be on your guard when you first ask for the listing? Usually if they don't know you they will almost always say NO.....(Don't hang your head, lift it straight up and hold it high, look them in the eye and say, can you give me a few minutes to tell you why you should say NO. That will throw them for a loop. Why is that? Or I thought you wanted a YES? I would say to them if you didn't say no I would expect you were too easy and didn't care about your house.
