Whew, What A Night!

Wow! What an unusual evening it was in my neighborhood, with what we use to call, trick or tweeters. It was amazing how many parents were walking with their children. They were following them in so many unusual ways. One dad went by on his skateboard while his daughter scooped up a handful of candy I bought. Next, there was a Screamer on a Motor scooter and a night jogger right behind him. I thought to myself, the only thing that squealed was his scooter when it went by. The night jogger I called out to and said, "what a cool get up" and he said "sure you can follow behind us and join the run." I guess all he heard was the scooter as well. Lol

Here comes a cowboy and a cowgirl. These two were the ones I will remember the most. The boy was as handsome as any could be. He was short but very proud to be a cowboy. He grabbed his handful, as quick as a cowboy would have grabbed a gun, when his mom said, "only one." He reluctantly put back the handful and his mom said, "don't feel sorry for him, we have brought back one huge bag of candy, and this is his second trip out." They galloped on ahead while a cowgirl, as pretty as a peach, came by and I gave her some candy. I said to her, "I just saw a nice looking cowboy," and she said, "oh yeah, that's Cody." As if I knew who Cody was? How cute. Here came the screamer on the scooter and the jogger again. I don't get it? Oh well, I think that's the point. Hope your night was as weird as mine.

Oops almost forgot................

"Way to go mom. Woof....Bfff......bfff.......Don't forget we helped to paw out to over 60+ treaters as we didn't see any tricks. We had some people stop by to the house and we got to howl and bark at them. They were going to some get up and knew a friend of mom's and wanted to say aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! That is what got us howling. In our neighborhood every dog was barking, squirrels were scattering across the telephone lines, kids were yelling at each other, parents were following on skates, skateboards etc., and as always in our hood the dreaded fire crackers. We were barking so much that at the end of it all we looked like we had done a marathon."

"Whew, what a night."
