Come One Come All, April 22!

I have to stay after work today to practice for an event coming up tomorrow. I have this skit I volunteered for the Women's Council Of Realtors. See the link to see about the event. Anyway, I am having a great time with it. I teamed up with Carol at the JTHS Association. She's a real hoot! I think we are related when it comes to this sort of thing. Hard to believe but true.
Years ago I did a little acting in High School and played Beauty and the Beast. Bobo and Izzy in the picture look like Beauty and the Beast. Pretty good huh? In the picture only but to me they are my dogs are both my beauties. I wasn't the Beats or the Beauty but a cranky ugly sister that I did pull some laughs from. They had a broom set up to chase me across the stage, on a string, that was suppose to look like it was spanking me. Ingenious they thought, until the broom let lose from the ceiling. It dropped to the stage, I grabbed it and started doing what I felt was the only thing to do. I hit myself on the back side of my rump, screamed and ran across the stage. People were laughing so hard. I saw my sister-in-law fall out of her seat in jovial laughter. I did get an award for best supporting actress of the year for this performance. I figured, if I could at least make people laugh, that was the best award of all. If making people laugh gets you this kind of fun, I'm in. Nothing makes me feel better than when someone else laughs. It's nice to see people laugh as it makes you think they feel good about what's going on or are having a good time.
We have all different volunteers on this project that are not just Realtors. Just a few of the people involved are a local Lawyer a Mayor and you'll just have to go to find out who else? Not sure how many, if any, tickets are left but they are going to have an auction, singers, dancers, a few comedy routines one with me and Carol. You really need to come. If there are any seats left, you're guaranteed a fun night out. It is going to be at the Abacoa Clubhouse in Jupiter. Tickets are only $25.00 each.
