It's the best time of year to go down the street, where people are anxiously waiting in line, to get there summers favorite desert. A delicious creamy ice cream cone. The person behind the counter busily grabs a cone, gets the ice cream you want and dips the scoop into the creamy flavor you chose. You can also add some colorful candy coated sprinkles as an extra flavor. For me, just plain creamy vanilla. The ice cream person, hands the cone over the counter as your hands excitedly reach, to take the best next 10 to 15 minutes of pure milky sensation. As you begin to take the first lick it brings back all the memories of your childhood. Bobo, looks so cute in this picture, I took after his encounter about a month ago at the animal hospital. He almost looks like an ice cream cone. I wish I could have given Bobo an ice cream cone that day, so he could enjoy the wonderful creaminess of the vanilla ice cream in it. I can just visualize, his eyes dancing in excitement and his nose sniffing frantically around on my shirt. He would take his tongue and lick the flavor off my lips and face, searching for that wonderful creamy flavor. Good thing I eat vanilla ice cream. Chocolate has an ingredient in it that is unfortunately poison to our pets. What a shame, something that is so good to us, can be that bad for our dogs. Although, some humans are lactose intolerant too. For those that can enjoy it, lick on and enjoy your favorite ice cream cone. I know me and Bobo will.
