Here's three tips I hope will help your stress level. No matter what you do for a living we all have stress. These things have helped me keep my stress level down, and I want to share it with you.
Bobo has one tip for you later too.
1. Take some slow deep breaths no matter where you are at. Make sure when you breathe use your nose, as it helps filter out the bad particles in the air. Breathe slowly in with your nose and slowly out with your mouth. It can become relaxing and rhythmic when you do this and can help you relax.
2. Take a warm bath and use some nice smelling bath crystals or whatever you like, as long as you aren't allergic to smells or perfumes in the products you may use. I have found Epsom salt to be great, especially if you are having pain in your body. Try not to over use the Epsom salt as it may cause a laxative effect. After you are done soaking for about 10 minutes more or less, you may want to rinse off with warm water. You don't want to start itching or become irritated from any of the products you used. We are trying to relax not stress ourselves out again.
3. A relaxation massage with light to heavy pressure is a great way to relieve those tense muscles you can't reach yourself. If you can't afford a massage or just don't have the time for one, use a roller or vibrator for your tired and sore muscles. Personally I can't take the vibration so I like to use a tool called a thera-cane to treat some tight muscles on my back. It helps to break up the muscle tension tension you are having if you can't get a massage. You have to be careful not to use too much force or it won't be relaxing the next day. Drink alot of water after you do these things. We get toxins in our body and it helps get rid of them when we drink water.
Bobo has one tip to tell you about. He has a multi use stress ball. Well, he's pawing at me right now, and wants to tell you about it himself.
"Bff, Bff, Bobo here. I have a ball with my stress ball. It has strings off the end of it like a troll doll. I chew on the strings to help me keep plaque off my Bo-tiful smile. Ha! I love to throw it as high up in the air as I can. I catch it and throw it against the wall so it comes back to me. Izzy doesn't like to play with it too much as it's a hard rubber ball. It has so many different uses for me to have fun and feel good about myself. As you can see in the picture, I love to chew. It helps me to Grrrrr-lax. There are 2 bones laying on each side of me in the picture. When I get tired of the ball I crunch away on my nylabones. They are the kind you chew on but they aren't edible. They are like a treat for me and Izzy. That's our favorite chew. Better than tobacco, we've been told. Hee....hee....Any howl, Keep breathing, soak, relax and get a sress ball. Don't take the ball I have, that's my stress ball.
Use these tips and I hope they will help you. Bobo says, if you would like to use his stress ball, he may change his mind to let you use it as long as you bring him a new nylabone. He just wants you to remember that it's his stress ball.
