Just Do It!

In Real Estate sometimes you don't have much time to think things over. You get a call that someone wants a rental yesterday. You look it up with all the criteria they give you and upgrades they want, but you don't find a whole lot that way. You go back to them and say "let's pull things up by bedrooms and baths first. It's too narrow a search to pull up all the other things that we may not find anything for you at all. I will make sure it's clean and has everything else you need such as rooms and appliances." I then remind them it's only a rental. The most important thing is they need it to live in not buy it. They laugh a little about it and we're on our way to maybe even a garage or carport possibly.


I know for Bobo and Izzy , my dogs, they do things without thinking about anything. They run after each other so fast sometimes I have seen them run into each other.They usually roll over on top of themselves and seem to be on a mission to find something. Ah Ha, There it is, they both have spotted the squirrel,. They toss it up and down, play tug a war and both have a squeaky sound on the end. Both hold on real tight and try to squeeze the tail and head until they squeeze the life out of this stuffless toy they want so much. That usually gets them dangling it from the couch, under pillows and everywhere else you can think of in the house. They make sure they get things worked over to the max and when their done they start licking each others faces. It's so adorable to see them do that after fighting playfully over the stuffless squirrel. They know how to just do things without thinking.

That's what we need more in our lives. Know how to make a sale, rent or list without the grand production. Be yourself around the people you meet and just do it!
