
Working as a Realtor doesn't come easy. We are always having to find people that we can show we are worthy of their trust and loyalty. Those two words mean so much. I think the reason most people have a hard time trusting others is they have had something happen in their lives with someone they have trusted. Be it a good friend or business associate. It's not easy to let that emotion go away, after someone has betrayed them in some way, especially if they thought they knew them.
Now our jobs sometimes seem impossible. We have to find ways to let people know we are sincere and can be trusted. What do we do? 3 things I can think of.......
1.Try to answer your phone and return their calls. Good or bad calls from them, return the call no matter what it is. Listen to them and let them know you care. Try not to let things get too personal with someone you don't know that well. Remember this is business and you can solve things much better knowing it's about the business you are in.
2. If they need a question answered get back to them with the answers. There is no reason we can't give an answer, because in my career, Real Estate, we have the Broker to go through to help us. Find as many ways as you can to show them through your actions you are following through.
3.What if they ask you for something they have misplaced? It's usually paperwork they can't locate you probably have in their file that they need. Make a copy of it, fax it or email it to them as soon as you can. Follow up with a phone call to see if they received it. It's the little things we can do to earn people's loyalty and trust. Do it with all your heart.
Bobo and Izzy have always been close. They are there for each other and they always show it through their actions. We could really learn from our dogs how to act towards each other. They are always showing us how much they love us when we come home. When we're sad, they are right beside us or sitting on us. When we need their love they are always ready to give it. Thanks to my Bobo and Izzy for their loyalty and trust.
Let's show our family, friends our loyalty and trust, and pass it on to our Customers and in my case, Buyers and Sellers. It could be our co workers as well. That's just as important as we might need each other. You want to be known as one who cares. Make sure you do this with sincerity and with all your heart. http://joinablog.blogspot.com/
