Eye Can Barely See!

Sometimes in Real Estate we can have an eye opening experience when we walk into a house we are showing. We see the beauty of the upgrades, cleanliness of the home, upgraded window coverings, paddle fans, remote control for the lights and fans, surround sound and need I go on? You catch my drift that it is more eye appealing when things show nice like that. Sometimes it doesn't even have to have all the upgrades just being clean and well kept can get a home sold faster than one that isn't clean. Of course the price still has to be right.
Then, there are other times, we can barely see what the house has due to all the stuff people leave everywhere. They have items of clothing laying all over the place, dishes in the sink, clutter of children's or dog's toys, etc., etc., etc. You can barely see how the house looks. That home may sit for a very long time or never sell just because people can't see anything nice about it.
Izzy says, "hey, Bobo, good thing you are getting your hair cut soon. I notice you have hair down in your left eye. How can you see me for the beauty I am?"
"Izzy, eye can still see out of my right eye and yes, you are pretty but being a beauty is stretching it a bit. Just like the houses mom talked about. Eye can barely see but thank goodness we don't live in a cluttered house, eye would be running into everything."
"Hang in their hairy boy, you are getting your hair cut, that way you can see me better to remember the beauty I am."
"Oh Phew, Izzy. Get a life and pick up your toys, before mom gets back, she's seen enough clutter for one day."
Make your houses show better and you will sell them much faster than the cluttered ones. It really takes too much for people to over look clutter in homes even if they do say they can. Believe me, eye can barely see through a cluttered home, and as a Realtor I see them almost everyday. Do yourself a favor and make your house show the very best it can be. You will be surprised to see how it will take less time for it to sell and also make sure you put a competitive price.
